The Autism Society of America

The Autism Society of America (ASA) is the leading voice and resource of the entire autism community in education, advocacy, services, research and support. The ASA is committed to meaningful participation and self-determination in all aspects of life for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. The ASA's mission is to improve the lives of all those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders and it accomplishes  this through close collaboration with a successful network of 200 chapters, and hundreds of thousands of members and supporters.

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis  (CF) and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.
   
Fisher House
The Fisher House program is a network of 32 comfort homes that provide a home-away-from-home for families of patients receiving care at every major military and several VA medical centers.  The homes provide a compassionate, supportive environment and serve as a tangible symbol of support for our military and veterans' families.  Fisher Houses have played a critical role in caring for those wounded and injured in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

Give an Hour is a nonprofit organization providing free mental health services to U.S. military personnel and families affected by the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
   
Guardian Angels for Soldier's Pet
Guardian Angels for Soldier's Pet an ALL volunteer 501c3 military support organization supporting our Military, Veterans, and their beloved Pets across the country to ensure the pets are reunited with their owners following a deployment (combat or peace-keeping mission) in harm's way to fight the global war on terrorism or unforeseen emergency hardships impacting our wounded heroes, their families, and their beloved pets through our Foster Home and Military Pet Assistance programs plus in process of establishing our first "Military & Veterans Pet" (MVP) Sanctuary (www.mvpsanctuary.org) in Gatesville, TX
   
Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund
Homefront America, Inc., is an "all volunteer" 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization comprised of military service members, veterans, their spouses, and families who understand the hardships and challenges of our military families that are left behind when a service member is away serving our country.
   
Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund was founded in May 2004 to provide financial assistance to injured Marines, sailors injured supporting Marine units, and their families. Injury to a family member causes an immediate crisis for the entire family; not just emotionally, but also financially. Our goal is to alleviate the financial burden placed on the family so that their focus can be on their injured service member’s recovery.
   
Toys For Tots
The Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children who might otherwise be overlooked during the Christmas holiday season. Please click on the banner to the left to learn about Toys for Tots and where you can make an individual credit card contribution.
   
The National Military Family Association helps prepare spouses and children of American troops, including those who have been deployed, wounded or fallen in action, to deal with the challenges unique to military life. NMFA provides such initiatives as free camps and after-school programs that provide coping skills for children of deployed service members, spouse scholarships, and funds to help support various military community programs.
   
Rebuild Hope

Rebuild Hope operates a national financial support network that helps families of veterans who suffer life-altering wounds from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Rebuild Hope provides grants and no-interest loans, helps veterans develop realistic budgets, and offers complementary counseling and referral services.  Donors can view veteran profiles on the Rebuild Hope website and easily make donor-advised gifts knowing that 100% will be distributed to deserving families. Give 100%. Salute our Services

www.saluteourservices.org - The Salute Our Services Kids Serve Too program recognizes that when a mom or dad is deployed, children frequently face hardship. The KS2 program works to engage the school and the community in efforts and activities to address the needs of military kids when one of their parents is deployed. It is especially important during this time to keep the kids engaged in extracurricular activities and to provide them extra support and encouragement.

   
Soldiers Angels
The Soldiers' Angels was started by a self-described "ordinary mother" of an ordinary young man turned hero, Sgt. Brandon Varn. Brandon was deployed in Iraq and has since honorably completed his mission and has returned back to his proud and loving family.

ThanksUSA is non-partisan, charitable effort to mobilize Americans of all ages to "thank" the men and women of the United States armed forces. TAPS

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, Inc. (TAPS) was founded in the wake of a military tragedy -- the deaths of eight soldiers aboard an Army National Guard aircraft in November 1992. Much like the national organization founded over twenty years ago to support police survivors, TAPS offers peer support and assists survivors through a wide variety of programs. Working hand in hand with the appropriate federal, state and private agencies, they have been successful in helping find solutions to problems that arise long after the official file has been closed. Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors. It was founded on the principle that veterans are our nation's greatest citizens. The WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severly injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world.
