We are pleased to invite you, your friends, family and business colleagues, to participate in the 26th Annual Orange County Veterans Employment Committee (OCVEC) Job and Resource Fair, Honor a Hero - Hire a Vet, for Veterans, National Guard, and Reservists returning from active duty. Businesses who participate in the fair will be able to market their job openings to hundreds of qualified candidates within the Orange County areas.

The event gives businesses and job seekers the opportunity to show appreciation for the men and women who have served our nation.  Veterans possess a wide variety of qualities including experience, maturity and loyalty that make them ideal candidates for job openings.  At a time when many employers are having difficulty finding qualified workers, veterans are a valuable resource and asset that are essential to the success of any business. U.S. Military Veterans are proven to be highly trained; moreover, military occupational training is world-class.  Veterans are disciplined, have developed strong leadership skills and are able to work independently, but more importantly in a team environment.

At the OCVEC Honor a Hero - Hire a Vet Job and Resource Fair, businesses can meet candidates face-to-face. Veterans attending will range from those who are seeking new careers to those who are looking for their first job since returning from the military.  The event is sponsored by the Employment Development Department, California Community Colleges, California Department of Veterans Affairs, California Labor and Workforce Development Agency, Department of Industrial Relations-Division of Apprenticeship Standards, Orange County Veterans Employment Committee and the Orange County Workforce Investment Board, One-Stop Centers.

The fee to exhibit is $250 and sponsorship opportunities are attached for your additional interest. The event is Veteran focused, but open to all job seekers, there is no entrance fee or fee for parking. Please visit our OCVEC web site at for details on the event or call Frank Fletcher at 949-341-8068.
