The Thanksgiving Meal has been eaten, the football games have been played, and the leftovers are in the fridge. We have taken the opportunity to recognize the things we are thankful for. But just because Thanksgiving day ends and the rush to get ready for the year-end holidays begins, we need to remember that not every family had the opportunity to be together. Military families make these kinds of sacrifices daily. Civilian spouses are keeping home and family together by themselves, and military children are missing one or both of their parents. So during this season of giving, please remember the families of our heroes in uniform. Seek out organizations that could use your help as a volunteer, or your donation to help a military or Veteran family. Contact us if you need to find a non-profit.

Warm regards,

Debbie Gregory, CEO

Donate Your Tickets

Veterans Tickets

The men and women who have donned a uniform in service to their country, the ones who put their nation first and their own lives second, are the kind of people we need to honor. Every day, there are sporting and entertainment events with empty seats that could be filled by those who serve or have served. And there are those who are in need of tickets. The Veteran Tickets Foundation is the “Matchmaker” that  brings the two together. If you are on active duty or a Veteran, we encourage you to register with VTF. If you have tickets to donate, or would like to contribute in other ways, we encourage you to visit VTF. All monetary and ticket contributions are tax deductible. When you make attendance possible, our Military and Veterans feel a collective “thank you” from all of us to all of them.

Veteran Government Resource Sites

Attention All Veterans!

There are a large number of websites that provide information on Veterans benefits and how to file and/or ask for them. Accordingly, there are many sites that explain how to obtain books, military/medical records, information and how to appeal a denied claim with the VA. Most of this information is free and available to all veterans, but you have to ask for it. We invite you to look over the list of websites in the event that one or more of them will be advantageous to you. We also recommend that you bookmark the page for future use.
