What is Nuclear Duty Pay?

There are several kinds of special pay that is taxable for officers with critical skills in the nuclear field and they include:

• $10,000 to $20,000 one time bonus when entering the nuclear field
• $12,000 Annual Incentive to stay in the nuclear field
• $19,000 Annual Bonus for those officers who extend for several years
