While we appreciate our nation’s Military every day of the year, May is National Military Appreciation Month. This Memorial Day, let us come together to remember, honor and recognize all of those who serve, past and present, and take a moment to thank those who gave so much to make America great. Without their contributions, our country, as we know it, would not exist.

Best regards,

Debbie Gregory, CEO

Who Doesn’t Like a Deal?

There are stores, restaurants and services that are doing their part to make life easier for active duty military, Guard and Reserves, Veterans of the US Military and their families by offering discounts. Some offer discounts at the franchisee’s or owner’s discretion, and other discounts vary state to state. On the other hand, there are many establishments that give a military discount and don’t advertise it, so it is always worth asking, especially if you have your proof of military service on you. We recommend you verify any discount in advance. Check out our deals page here.

Bring this Event to Your Community

Did you know that there are 44,000 volunteer organizations in the United States dedicated to helping service members and their families? These organizations help parents, siblings, friends, coworkers, employers - everyone in the community. The resources that these organizations offer can help you understand what our Veterans went through, what they are going through now, and how to help them. The goal is to make everyone in the community a resource. Operation Engage America has partnered with the American Legion, VFW, IAVA, PVA and the VA to educate all who are interested in helping make these resources available to the community. The inaugural Operation Engage America will be held on June 7th from 1-5PM in the cities of San Diego and Des Moines. For more information about this unique event, click here.
